The building drew inspiration from the history and culture of the Overtown music and entertainment district, which the building is located in. The design of the building incorporates elements that pay tribute to the district's musical heritage, such as the simulation of musical notes from a famous 1920's song in the building's base.

Additionally, the color palette of the building is inspired by the Afro-American roots of the community. contextual design, and how integrating elements from the surrounding environment can create a building that is not only visually stunning but also meaningful and impactful to the community it serves.
