The Architecture Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the architectural firm, ensuring that all administrative functions run smoothly and efficiently. This role combines leadership, project management, and operational support to facilitate the successful delivery of architectural services.

Primary Job Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the office, including facilities, management, supply procurement, and equipment maintenance.
Implement and improve office procedures and systems to enhance productivity.
Coordinate all project efforts in order to ensure effective execution, prepare strategic plans, and serve as primary client liaison.
Estimate scope of work and oversee and monitor less experienced project architects and design staff.
Responsible for coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
Serve as primary liaison contact with accounting department of the clients.
Manage budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting for projects.
Estimate fees, determine scope of work, and prepare proposals and contracts on the most complex projects.
Plan and develop medium-to-large projects with many complexities under minimal supervision.
Support recruitment efforts by managing job postings, interviewing candidates, and onboarding new employees.
Report daily - via email or in-person - with reports of the status of all ongoing projects in the office
serve as primary liaison contact with team members of all ongoing active projects
Represent the firm outside the office through involvement in professional organizations and related business events.

Qualifications
A professional degree in architecture or business administration from an accredited program.
Completion of Professional Licensure strongly preferred.
15 or more years professional experience.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Demonstrated success managing large, complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
Excellent team leadership, communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and/or manage a team and clearly delegate tasks.
Proficiency in office management software and project management tools.
Willingness to teach and learn.
Enthusiasm, passion, and curiosity that motivates others.

The INTERIOR Designer PROJECT MANAGER is central to the success of our firm and must have excellent interpersonal, and communication skills in order to effectively collaborate and lead a design team for larger projects from concept to completion. You must be adept at managing multiple project timelines, deadlines and be responsive and flexible with a can-do attitude. Your top skills should include time management, organization, problem solving, creativity, and leadership. The right candidate will have a minimum of 9-12 years experience managing interior design projects within a residential interior design firm.
Responsibilities:
Work with Principal and design team to manage and execute projects from design stage through completion based on Principal’s vision and expectations.
Estimate hours for new projects
Create and manage budgets meticulously - a must!
Create and manage project timeline to completion
Responsible for meeting or exceeding the financial goals established for projects
Mentor Associate and Jr. Designers
Select or manage the selection of all finishes and furniture
Work with the design team to prepare for client presentations by creating mood boards, floorplans, drawings and elevations.
Read architectural plans and produce scaled drawings and room layouts.
Read architectural plans and create full elevation sets and lighting plans.
Research new products and materials to keep our designs unique
Manage all follow up details, organize meeting notes, project status, deliverables, etc.
Review, edit and approve drawings done by other team members
Understand and anticipate the technical implications of design decisions
Facilitate design review and construction planning meetings
Ability to manage a team through strong leadership, effective communication, collaboration, motivation, mentorship and respect toward all team members
Conduct site inspections to ensure conformance to design specifications
Expertly manage client expectations and internal team communication - a must!

Requirements:
Degree in interior design or interior architecture from a US accredited school
MIN 9-12 years of residential design experience
AutoCAD- highly proficient skills
Autodesk 3ds Max -a plus!
Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign
Proficient in Google Docs, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
Knowledge of building codes
Experienced in all phases of project construction documentation production
3D modeling a plus
Sketching/hand drafting a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Keep up to date with codes and standards

vvp is looking for a professional, organized, and self-motivated Jr. Designer who has 1-2 years minimum of residential design experience and who can thrive in an intimate, but very fast-growing firm. Candidate must be good at multi-tasking, organized, energetic, eager to learn, cheerful, and also be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. The Junior Designer will contribute to the success of the firm by assisting with all aspects of design development, sourcing, meeting preparation, technical drawings, maintaining organized binders, and sample library. Candidate should be able to work within existing systems and help create new systems for continued success. Must be adaptable and able to successfully function with lots of balls in the air!

Requirements:
Degree in interior design, design school, or equivalent experience.
1-2 years of residential design experience
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, rendering skills are a plus
Proficient in AutoCAD – ability to develop floorplans and elevations
Autodesk 3ds Max -a plus!
Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook- must be prompt and utilize strong communication skills when responding to emails.
Experience selecting and specifying lighting, furnishings, hardware, floor/window coverings, materials and finishes.
Experience with quotes, proposals, budgets, purchase orders and purchasing process
